Re: Device Configuration and Hands Free Activation TP2 Errors

for the sprint people...if you can get the MSL on the phone a ##786# which is a full wipe and restore plus an actual wipe on the phone number and programming info may help..if you're doing just Clear storages it doesnt usually wipe any wrongdoings with the programming info. a ##3282# may also work which is JUST a wipe and restore on the data services without the actual hard reset on the phone...both of these are what we use at our repair center..both you have to have the MSL which some people may or may not be able to get. for the sprint people, it may be better to just flash back to stock if your on custom...and take your phone to a repair center...not sure of the answer for Metropcs people

The same issue happened to me today.

Everything was fine, I was surfing using Opera 10 mobile, turned my screen off to do some actual work at work and then turned the screen back on the same way I've done for the past 8 months and it's weirdo city.

Turned it on/off, removed battery... I have no idea why this happened. I haven't done anything new in weeks... I don't get it. Soft reset doesn't help.

I'm using sprint, so a trip to a sprint store will be on the list tomorrow. I'd hate to lose my stuff, but I did just do a backup of my contacts and texts to myphone.microsoft.com

FYI I am a total noob when it comes to these phones. I haven't really done anything to my phone except install groveshark a couple months ago and googlemaps.

Edit:
What is an "MSL"?

Also to be specific about the other issues, correct the touchflo doesn't work which means it limits many of the phones abilities and is soooo slow I really can't even send a text message via the file explorer type layout.

This is a pretty bad situation and my job requires my heavy use of this phone.

Re: Device Configuration and Hands Free Activation TP2 Errors

the 1012 & the 67 errors popped up in the last week for me.
Now my phone calls are not coming through.
I wiped away all data back to stock & it has not helped.

Next step is to call SPCS.

Found a Solution finally!!! thnx to "sprintgirl" in this THREAD. Now it may not work for everyone, but sure did for me w/ the same symptoms. I'll attach a copy of the file here, just make sure y'all thank her for it.

p.s. I didn't have to, but you might wanna update your PRL file for those on MetroPCS.
