Re: Is it just me or does WM just plain suck?

Already is superior as anything that can be done with a phone, can be done with a windows phone. They had a big head start from the original PDA market. They've not made any great strides in improving the product, but others are still playing catch up on actual capabilities. Others may be more "popular" in the fad scenes, and may also drive market innovation, but the phones that businesses buy thousands of and hand out are either blackberry or windows. From an IT perspective, blackberry is a pain, not to mention expensive companywide implementation in comparison. If RIM doesn't address it, it will be Blackberry that fails and for no other reason than server side functionality. For the large companies and IT staff, Windows phones are just another PC to tend to, where everything is familiar.

iphone and android may well develop into a true professional mobile computing device one day, but the day is nowhere near.

Those that think Windows phones suck are apparently seeking a gameboy/phone rather than a PC/phone.
