Fastest way to unlock replacement device?

I received a replacement device from Verizon today and was pshyced to get it unlocked and flash a new ROM, then HSPL told me that I had to pay to unlock another device, or contact the vendor if it's a replacement device.

I submitted a ticket and requested help at the HSPL site, but is there a faster way to get this done? I'm anxious to get my phone updated unlocked and because I'll be away from the computer all week.

They told me the same thing. I ended up paying just to get it done sooner. I did submit a ticket but i was in to much of a hurry.

It's about $7 USD (4 GBP) now to unlock a phone. It's not a bad price, it's just disappointing because I have no money to pay for it right now because of the holidays.

Does the donation fee allow you to use it more than once, or is it (also) single use?

Wow...didn't know the price went up. Donation doesn't allow you to use it more than once. You can email in for an "unlock" but that might take days. Just normally easiest to pay the money and get it over with...no matter what type of user you are. They do a great job though at unlocking, so that does have its price.

It ended up being $6.55. I haven't gotten a reply back yet (probably because of the holidays) and need my phone upgraded
