to delete all or multiple messages, press menu in the inbox screen click select messages, and choose, All or All below or Several to disable the scrolling and regain ability to tap each email u wanna delete. It was able to do this on my Stock rom as well as the mighty Rom im on now.

By the way, my girlfriend confirmed tonight that she can do a hold-tap on her T-Mobile TP2 to get a context menu in an email message she's composing.

So apparently Verizon is just against pasting stuff into your emails. *scratches head* Or maybe it's just my phone. Truly bizarre.
