I cant use Sprint TP2 oversea where 10 digit # are used! HUGH MAJOR BUG!

I have confirm that it is hard getting a GPS signal in other parts of the world.

It can take me about 15 mins before I get a lock.

When I see it on m googlemap, I can see the satellite info goes in and out and sometime there is no signal. I never seen anything like this in USA.

Maybe I will post a new thread like this and see if anyone get a quick signal lock in other parts of the world.

I can't find "Global Smart Dialing" in my phone menu... Could that be because I don't have Sprint sim card in my phone? It didn't come with my refurbished phone...

So what's the way to get this to work in the US?? I've noticed like if I dial a 10 digit number the one is automatically added. I've went into global smart dialing but don't see anything that would let me disable adding that 1.

Why change it? It still works the same. I think that as a 'smartphone' it's usually set up to automatically do this. I changed this on one of my phones once before and went to an area that required dialing the 1 before the number and it was a real PITA. As long as it works and gets your calls out, I say leave it be.

I got everything working on my phone now. Thanks to everyone!

When I go to Kuala Lumpur, I will go and take photo of my Sprint Touch Pro2 vs HTC HD2. I really want to see this phone. I hope it comes to Sprint soon.
