I cant use Sprint TP2 oversea where 10 digit # are used! HUGH MAJOR BUG!

The other thing is I cant get a lock on the GPS at all.

I already had do the QuickGPS thing. It download it and I try it on Google Map for 2 hrs and still no lock.

I cant figure out that is going on why it cant work overseas with the GPS. Does anyone knows?

QuickGPS uses data so does google maps. I assume the prepaid sim doesnt include data connection.

what aalim said, but if you've changed it in the reg you may have to hard reset to turn it off

I do have data. It cost RM5 a day here, about US$1+ per day for unlimited data.

I prefer googlemap because Garmin XT is terrible.

I got GPS to lock in on a satellite today. I dont even know what I have done. I mean I have use the QuickGPS and I am outside and had tried for 2+ hrs and tonite it just work. I will see if it works tomorrow.

Garmin has 2 sec lag but i believe it is one of the best gps out there with IG08 i have both on my sdcard.

i use Garmin all the time and IG08 as a back for TTS...

i have tom tom too it does not hurt to have more than one gps app on your sdcard ..it is worth every penny to get 16gb sdcard in my mind..

No, I just dont know what the problem is.

In USA, my TomTom7, iGo8 and Garmin XT has no problem locking on the signal. I mean in 2 sec I got the lock.

Now I am here, it doesnt work at all until last night. I like to use Googlemap first so I can really see it get lock on a GPS signal.

I hope I get a quick lock from now onwards. Now this is with QuickGPS help.
