Should JUICY cook HTC messaging back into R6 ?

Arguing with you is useless man. Kash has worked on this for us. Juicy has no problem with this poll. As of todays results , I am in the minority and thats fine by me. When you looked at this thread subject, what possesed you to come in here and bash it? Why not just stay out of "the most pointless thread". Why? Because people like you want to start trouble. Youll say things like
Why dont you make a cab <----- I dont know how , do you?
Why dont you become a chef<------ I dont know how, do you?
Why dont you use another rom<----- I might but I like this one overall. Thanks to Kash I can stay with R6

How is this thread helping anyone? If I were Juicy I would be offended someone made a thread about my rom complaining about how it needs something back. Im sure he gets enough complaints on this doesnt work and that freezes... Instead of making a poll why not have someone make a cab to re activate manila sms?

You do realize that polls are actually useful and that cooks might even appreciate them from time to time? Now instead of Juicy having to try and sift through all the posts in his thread he can pop in here and take a quick look to see what the general consensus his users came to is. Can you think of a better way to get that info without using a poll?

I'm sorry if they thread offended you, but guess what, you don't have to read it. I'm not sure what people find so hard about this concept.

- i guess a newer version

2. the one i found is : HTCMessaging_Client 1_1_19203223_00

-whats important is that it works without having to reinstall a fresh rom
so it should hold up until some one with the knowledge can make a cab for the newer version

Just Installed it and it does bring back htc messaging but when you click on contact sections and select a person contacts and select text tab it just does not show still the text message. So I this is buggy and uninstalled back to without HTC Messaging.

i always use the disable manila messaging cab and use the WM style.. i like it.. .simple and fast



you can use it with any rom.

If you learn then you accomplish 2 things.
1. You can make the ROM exactly to your personal preference
2. You don't have to make a poll and then endure all the controversy.
Another alternative is to use a Kitchen ROM.

Opinions are fine, but this thread probably was more of a hassle for you than you first thought... especially seeing that the results are definitely tilted against putting it back in.

i'm thinking people are upset about this polll because they like htc messaging disabled and don't want to see it get put back in... otherwise, it's kind of petty to get upset about a simple poll. This is a debate that has been ongoing in Sense ROM threads. Now we can see how many people truly like it or don't. And it looks like there's a nice balance of people who like it either way. As long as it's kept classy, who cares.

BTW, If juicy ends up making two separate ROMs... one with and one without, we know who to thank.
