Re: HELP! Pocket Shield/Dialer issue

For future reference, when I install PS the first thing I do in the config is uncheck EVERYTHING in the phone tab.

I then set it to unlock with light, stylus out & finger swipe. Calibrated correctly, it unlocks so fast with light that I barely even see the lock screen & in the dark I use the finger swipe to UL.

I answer with the stock s2a & get no ring lag whatever.

PS blows away s2u2 IMHO.

Re: HELP! Pocket Shield/Dialer issue

Same thing happened to me...

First Uninstall Pocket Shield...
Soft Reset...

Reinstall Pocket Shield...
Next...Open Pocket Shield...
Go to the bottom of the Screen...
Click on Phone...
New Window will Open in PS...
I've checked Protect in Coming Calls and I've checked
Slide to answer Calls...

Click on the Green Plus Sign ...
Screen will open ...
I've put a check in The Volume Control Box ...
and don't check anything else...
Click Ok...
This will take you back to the Main Screen of PS...
Click on the Big Green Check Mark on the Left Side of the bottom of the screen...
This will save your settings and you will have the original HTC Dialer Screen...

Soft Reset...
Done Deal...

Re: HELP! Pocket Shield/Dialer issue

If you just Uninstall PS and soft reset you should get the original HTC dialer Screen back...and thats before reinstalling PS...

Re: HELP! Pocket Shield/Dialer issue

Whenever stuff like this happens and you can't get it back...Install a good backup program and then you'll just hit restore and It'll bring you back where you were before the F-up...Otherwise its time for a hard reset...

Yea, you're right. I learned this lesson a long time ago.

I use both Sprite & SPB Backup.

I don't even bother uninstalling offending programs anymore. Before install ANYTHING new to my system I make a current BU.

Then, if I don't like the results I just restore one of the BU files (I keep half a dozen current BU files on my 16 gig card)
