Yea, you're right. I learned this lesson a long time ago.

I use both Sprite & SPB Backup.

I don't even bother uninstalling offending programs anymore. Before install ANYTHING new to my system I make a current BU.

Then, if I don't like the results I just restore one of the BU files (I keep half a dozen current BU files on my 16 gig card)
