Alltel's is the only one I used. It works perfectly for me.

And no, there's no memory leak. At least no more than I had on my 6700, which was about 2MB loss. But Oxios close apps takes care of that for me too.

ok I Flashed to Alltels WM5 and wow sooo much better. I dont use bluetooth so cant comment on the issue with that. Also one more question, does the PPCGeeksMMS.cab made for the Mogul work for this ROM. In other words if I install that Using Alltels WM5 on my Mogul will MMS work properly?

It should, being that the cab was made for WM5. I've never used MMS a single time so you're asking the wrong person there.

It will pop up about unsigned cabs though. I haven't gotten around to searching for a way to disable that "feature" but its not really a big deal anyway to press on allow.

Ya dude ill try it out and let everyone know if it works. Wow this is soooo much better if you ask me this WM5 seems faster, more stable and most programs thus far were desgined for WM5 so they work better (ex. dialpads)

Exactly my reasoning for falling back to WM5.

I think I am going to wait for the OCT 22 dealine... if nothing really gets fixed, or they just completely blow it and extend the fix out another 6mo I might flash the WM5 rom.

I'm running the Altel WM5 ROM too. I flashed it for one reason: to see if its bluetooth stack would auto-connect to my car stereo. WM6 did not, so it was worth a shot. It doesn't. Everything else runs very smoothly, though, so I may stick with it.

OH
MY
G-D!!!!!

You know, I'm going to speak to the mods about possibly banning the next person who randomly brings up the memory "leak" in the forums, thus causing widespread panic for a cache that IS SUPPOSED TO BE THERE!
Its not a leak, its accelerates WM6's response times. When will you people learn?! Gah...

What kind of car stereo? It auto-connects to my Sony BT2500 just fine.
