I am not going to sit here and pretend I am technically advanced to the point that I want to even begin learning; some things just arent for everyone to attempt. And at the same time, I am not going to ever ask the question "WHEN" in regards to roms and kitchens.

Personally, I dont mind waiting and watching developments as they unfold.

I appreciate greatly all the work thats been done for PPC; in general, the Apache...since I formerly owned one.

I am not afraid to admit my limitations.

Ummm... HTC/Sprint already announced that there will be a Maintenance Release ROM pushed out in September to address at a minimum the keyboard and Bluetooth issues.

Just like the EV-DO upgrade for the 6600, right?

Not necessarily, there is no guarantee that the EVDO upgrade (for the 6800) will be in the MR ROM I mentioned. Would be nice and would seem to make sense since Sprint had already made it known that the RevA upgrade would be coming in the Fall.

One can hope...

And yes, I understand the sarcasm regarding the 6600 reference

No we aren't building ROMs yet, but it would be nice to see more people willing to learn what an SPL is and trying to help out. I know that looking at hex code isn't for everyone, but this forum was named PPCGeeks for a reason =)

Maybe i'm wrong though. I'm curious to know how many people are interested in spending time working on this. Maybe if there is enough interest we can convert the unified rom kitchen development section into a mogul rom kitchen development section. They don't call it the bleeding edge for nothing though.
I couldn't agree with you more. As someone who doesn't have any knowledge at all about SPL, etc, do you have a site or any documentation that would help people learn? If we can pull some good documentation together, I'd be happy to throw it on the Wiki for Mogul and other users to reference.
