That seems dangerous to try on my $500 phone.

I've been doing something similar for quite a while on my phones and my GPS unit. I bought a car charger that has dual USB ports on it. I then bought a retractable sync/charge cable for each device I had. I have used this setup with a Treo 700wx, my Mio GPS unit and now my 6800.

As a matter of fact, I picked up the retractable mini-usb at a local Dollar Tree.

Is it for the mogul specifically or the apache? Other question is how much did you pay for it? What are the specs on it, is it 5V at 1a?

Got a question for you guys, just went to walmart and they have a belkin "charging kit" for the creative zen. Well the connector for it is the standard mini-usb end so i figured it would work with the mogul. Came with a car charger and a wall charger, has a usb cable that connects to both of the chargers, not perm attatched. It has the right specs of 5v at 1A so i figured it would work the same. What you guys think, will this harm my phone at all? Dont' want to use it and have it screw it up, considering how expensive the phone is and all. Oh, it was also just $25 and tax also so i figured it was a good deal to go with that.

Well, $25 is not really a good deal. But, it should work fine.

Any charger designed for modern Creative Audio MP3 players should work as they provide the 5v 1a power that the 67/6800 need...

Or you can get a generic 6700 charger from bestbuy (I got mine for $12 using the employee discount)

(NOTE: Can't say Ive tried the creative charger on a 6800 yet, but it works great on 6700's)

I'd like to be clear that it included both a car charger and a standad wall charger. Considering that I think that it is a good deal. I see online both for the same prices so the person saying that it isnt a good deal i'm not sure what they mean by that it is not a good deal.

It might be a decent price for the brand you are getting, but you can get a car and home charger for much cheaper online (i.e. ebay).
