I think the file itself was downloaded to my PC but when I ran it, it was installed on my Mogul.

I also think there are different versions (PC vs PPC).

Not entirely positive on those steps as I have installed a buttload of things in the past few days. Hope it helps. Good luck.

I think i have it working. I just had to look around a little more to find the ppc version. I'll have to test this out later.

I downloaded the AudioPara.csv file and copied it to my Windows folder. It did not ask me to overwrite or replace any files. I looked through the Windows folder and did not find that original file in there. The only one that had the same file name was a excel file. Do I need to remove that one?

Iam having the same issue. I just put the file in the windows folder, not any sub-folders, it did not ask me if I wanted to replace any files.

Would this be because I never ran the Sprint Ext Rom, and I don't not have a file to replace? Also, does it need to go into any sub folder, or just in the Windows folder? TIA

Try this to make the volume louder... simple registry hack and you don' t need to install anything as long as you have a registry editor.

This will work for WM6 (courtesy of SprintMogul.net)

Increasing Speaker Volume

Try increasing the value in:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/ControlPanel/Phone/"Vol"

I cranked it up to 95000 (original value is 65535 and that increase the volume substantially, I don't know what it will max out at or how it will effect battery power (I don't even care, as long as the volume is louder).

I have the Alltel version and I could not get this to work at all, kept getting permission errors and other errors. I have a mac and was using missingsync and file explorer on the phone. I downloaded total commander and worked with no problem, phone is very load now, I used the coarse with the earpiece file, I am home watching football, dryer is running, and a 6 and 3 y/o playing and I put the volume to 1 and it seemed louder than the highest setting before! Great work! Thanks for finding and sharing from pda forums!

What rom are you using?
