Do you have to redo the registry hack?

If you have, and it's still not working... this is a deal breaker for me.
My A2DP Sony DS970 and itech R35 are both working fine

I decided to be impatient, and updated, then did restored and SPB backup.

My Freepulses work fine, and the phone does seem a tick snappier.

I can't seem to find the Sprint Music Store after the update, though.

Edit: Found it, but it says I need to update my phone software, pointing me to the HTC site for the rom.

This is because you restored a backup from a previous ROM. If you truly want to update, you need to hard reset and then install all of your programs again. You can use the SPB backup program to restore your documents and PIM data, but not your program data.

Well...if you perform a full restore, it pretty much affects the entire phone, so I'm not sure what you mean by 'anything else' being affected...

Any of the fixes that the ROM has. By doing a full restore, did I end up undoing those?

I am experiencing the keyboard input problem with the new ROM.

When using Windows Live the slide-out keyboard will only input characters, as if you have the Function key on lock.

Input works okay for texting, email and notes.

well im assuming its a profile thing then since the Jabra bt620s use to work on the old rom. im able to use it for calls and the controls work for music but the sound is not been routed to the bt headset but coming from the device pretty odd not sure why the controlls would work and no sounds with it.

Experiencing a new bug on the new rom where phone calls randomly won't play the ringtone at all so I can't hear the calls.

there is no way i'm buying this phone...these threads sounds just like the 6700. it's another $500 phone that has bugs that are so annoying that you'd like to slam it on the ground. each ROM update fixes a few, adds a few more.

i've cashed in my insurance on the 6700...will be sent a replacement this week. then i'll take the NIB 6700 (perhaps refurb, so but so be it), sell it on ebay, switch to GSM and open my phone choices by two orders of magnitude.

the only hope Sprint has is if they give me a FREE 6800 when I call to cancel my service.
