Just found a new possible bug after installing the new ROM...

Fresh PPC, nothing else on it (I did not skip the Sprint stuff, so it's still there), installed the "X-button" program that I've come to really like....and wham! Things started taking forever, specifically the rotation of the screen when you opened the keyboard (like 3-4 seconds at best). I did several "soft resets" to no avail. Anyone else have this issue, I'd love to be able to use this program..

I use spb pocket plus for the X button and have had 0 issues with the new rom.

Also haven't had any problems with HTC X-button 1.5 build 30229

I've given-up on this device (The Telus version), I don't know what the hell is taking Telus so damn long to release a rom-update of windows mobile 6.

Went to the darkside and got me a Blackberry Curve.

If you would have waited a few more days, you would have had WM6 (released today).

Can I use other ROM than HTC Mogul? It seems that people with HTC Herms have developed quite a few better ROMs.

Not really. You can, and probably will, brick your phone.

The Mogul was just released, have some patience until some of the ROM makers figure it out.

I wasn't going to upgrade to this ROM because I didn't want to reinstall everything. However, my phone started sporadically having DNS issues regardless if I used custom DNS or Sprint's default DNS. Websites would resolve by IP, but not by domain name. Then an hour later they would work. Had my vision profile reset, did a hard reset and nothing seemed to work.

Did the ROM upgrade and everything is good now. I wonder if something in my old ROM got corrupted?
