Thanks so much for the program. I've only had the phone 1 day and that damn LED is annoying. I know you can just turn the phone over, but browsing the internet or just working on the phone, that light bugs. Anyways, thanks a lot...

Update 12/29/07 - Added OEM version of LED Killer for those that want to build it into their custom ROMs. File is named Optional_LED_Killer_3.1a.zip and is on the first post. There is no functional difference between this version and the regular 3.1 cabbed version.

If you are not building a custom ROM then use the regular 3.1 cabbed version.

Happy New Year to you all!!

I just bought a VZW XV6800 today and I am impressed so far. Meaning it is still barebones. I am a newbie to this style phone/forum and just installed the led killer and it works GREAT! My thanks to Stroths and codyppc for creating this app. Killing the service light was something I asked the rep today and he didn't know. They are very annoying to say the least.

I am sure you will be hearing from me with questions/how tos.
Thanks
Magoo

I really appreciate this led killer! When driving, I have a clip to hold my phone snapped into the left h/ac vent and that constant green light was SOO annoying (honestly, what were they thinking)!

Very nice.
Should have installed this before I went on my 312 mile round trip yesterday. Would have saved me quite a few scary looks over at my phone.

What about a bluetooth light disable for those of us who use our bluetooth. OEM would be great
