The bluetooth and wifi lights don't really bother me...kind of like knowing when those are active... that service light was annoying...glad it's gone..

Does anyone know specifically what makes TreoLED (what LEDKiller uses) and HermLED incompatible even when operating on different LEDs? The reason being that LEDKiller is perfect for for the green service light. It doesn't mess with notifications or charging lights, just the green light. HermLED does exactly what I want to the blue light, but I don't like what it does when I use it for the green service light. Thus, I want to use HermLED for the blue light and TreoLED (via the LEDKiller script) for the green service LED. Unfortunately, the two don't play together even if they're trying to control separate LEDs.
We've got the source to HermLED...does anyone think there's a way to do what I'm trying? |

The 2 files that I believe both apps work on is AllLEDmgr.dll and nleddrvr.dll in \windows.

Found new incompatibility and fix (added to main post)
- (12/23/07) - QuickMenu - When you enable the option "Show on all titlebars". LED Killer will not stop the LED from flashing if this option is enabled in QuickMenu. Under Quickmenu's options, go to the view tab and uncheck "Show on all titlebars" to resolve the compatibility. |

Thanks so much for the program. I've only had the phone 1 day and that damn LED is annoying. I know you can just turn the phone over, but browsing the internet or just working on the phone, that light bugs. Anyways, thanks a lot...

Update 12/29/07 - Added OEM version of LED Killer for those that want to build it into their custom ROMs. File is named Optional_LED_Killer_3.1a.zip and is on the first post. There is no functional difference between this version and the regular 3.1 cabbed version.
If you are not building a custom ROM then use the regular 3.1 cabbed version. |
