I was having this same issue and after holding for an hour and 15 minutes, I got a sprint tech to help me out. She said i wasn't provisioned for the internet and had me do all those resets with the ## and it worked. Then I tried to set up me sprintpcs mail and got the same message about incorrect password. I called again and the dude said I wasn't provisioned for that either. he did something and now my email is set up.
I think if you upgraded, but you were not previously on a smartphone, they have to provision you for the internet. If the rep didn't do it when you ordered your phone, you have to call tech support.

Are you guys talking about Vision not working in the phone itself or are you talking about tethering? Because my EV-DO Vision service is working fine in the phone but when I do the Internet Sharing, it gives me the stupid Error Code 67: Registration Error notice.
Any ideas on this? I hope we don't have to have a Phone As Modem plan....cause that's a tremendous draw back when compared with the 6700 (at least for me). I wonder if we can use the old WModem program somehow in the 6800 which would prevent this error from occuring??? |
