do i need to change the address of where the MMS is posting? right now it reads user@user.com and my messages dont seem to be going anywhere... ive tried sending them to other people and to my e mail... neither worked.

i have the alltel rom on my sprint mogul i need the conigurations for sprint pictre meessaging to work..thanks

what is the radio and what does it do? sry..im not new to pocket pcs but i dnt know what that is..lol..and yeh the alltel version isnt too bad cant wait for custom firmwares

if you flashed alltel you probably have radio 1.40 which is a little newer.

It seems as if I can send pics/video with no problem. As for receiving, I tested a send pic/video to myself and that worked as well as verizon is able to send pics/video to me. T-mobile cannot send to me but they can receive no problem. Hmmmm...

I'm not sure the zip from this post is the lastest version since it states that it doesn't work with videos. This version from http://rapidshare.com/files/47528882...ntMMS.zip.html works with videos. This zip also comes from the great people of this board hence the name of the zip.
I had a problem getting it to work. This is how I got it to work after hours of loading and unloading it. "THIS IS IMPORTANT - You will need to DL the zip file onto your PC first not to your mogul". Also there was confusion on how to DL it from the site. Here's how to do it. Click on the above link, go to the bottom of the page and click on the free box, Then type in the 4 digit/alpha into the "Here" box and then click on the download box. Save it to your PC. Unzip it and copy the CAB file onto your mogul. You should find it in your My Document folder. click on the CAB file and it will start running. It will ask where you want it to load to - Device or Storage. I chose Device just in case I don't have the same card (music card vs program card for me) in my mogul it won't work. After loading, do a soft reset. It should be working now. If you go to your messaging to select an acct, you will notice there's an acct called "MMS user@user.com". It the program's acct. Don't edit or try to delete it (I don't think you can if you try anyway). When you send a pic from your folder, it will take you to your messaging to select an email acct. The above MMS acct will be there BUT there will be another new acct created called "NEW PIX MESSAGE (MMS) user@user.com". You will need to select that one and not the "MMS user@user.com". Then the MMS page comes up and you can input the phone number to where you want to send it to. The "NEW PIX MESSAGE (MMS)" acct is only a temporary acct and will disappear when you send your MMS message but the other "MMS" acct will still be there.
When you use the camera, take your picture and click on the picture of an envelope at the bottom. It will now give you an option to send it via MMS or by email. When you choose via MMS, you WON'T be taken to the messaging acct instead it will go straight to the MMS page. You can also send videos BUT you must choose the picture of a video camera picture with the word MMS under it and the max time of the video will be 17 seconds. The other video camera WILL NOT WORK for MMS'ing.
I'm posting this because I know how fustrating it is to load a program and not have it working and can't get someone to help. I hope this helps explain everything.

So, anyone have the exact settings for Sprint's MMS servers? in the form required to enter into The Alltel MMS settings (same as arcsoft custom that is currently floating around for sprint) as I am currently running their rom and it pwns the sprint one for low signal service in my area... But I wanna try out their built picture messaging program... :S
