Just a quick offtopic for any of our resident geniuses.
I've got a mogul that I moved to cricket... everything works flawlessly except receiving MMS (duh).... I was just wondering if anyone can give some details as to why this method DOES NOT work to receive? What is different between the 6700 and 6800 that allowed the 6700 to receive via arcsoft, but the 6800 can't? I currently don't even receive a notification that someone sent me a picture... nothing at all. Is it possible there's just a registry setting to be tweaked? Any thoughts on whether the Alltel program would work better? (I'm skeptical.. it's just an update of the same program we're using).... It seems to me that something internal to the phone is blocking the message receipt confirmation, but I haven't seen any conversation about this... anyone got any help? |

Bumping this.. cmon, someone's got to have a suggestion.. |

I just read this thread. Did as suggested, did the regedit and changed the server to the ip and it works just fine.
Before the regedit and server change I could still picture mail through wi-fi but now it works through the Sprint network.

Once I dig out my copy of Visual Studio (the windows mobile SDK won't install on VS Express), i'll have to work on a program that will emulate mms functionality, letting you pick a contact off your list, and automatically adding the @pm.sprintpcs.com to that number and emailing it.
