Problem with hack one

I did hack one (security sertificate) on my mogul (wm6) and now my ringtones dont work and i cant open mp3 files (gives me security sertificate error).

also where it says to add to the registry 000101b (last step of the hack) it already existed for me if that helps. Ive been entering the values in decimal because i belive the old values in the hack corresponded to the decimal values in my registry.

EDIT ----- Doh! Spent 20 minutes messing around and all I needed was a softreset

No multi-NAI

An interesting note:

When I go into my registry, I dont have this one:

"12-Disable Multi-NAI
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\WModem\Multi-NAI default is 1, set to 0(00000000)"

If there is no Multi-NAI registry thing, does this mean there is no multi-NAI?

Maybe worth noting, I got my 6800 from letstalk.com, a discount retailer, rather than Alltel themselves. Is the Multi-NAI thing something Alltel puts on their machines before they sell them to customers?

when i change certain things in the registry, after a soft-reset, they go back to the way they were.
i figure this is a problem with the cache not writing back
so i waiting several hours, then turned off, and off, and it still doesn't work.

i'm with a Mogul on Sprint trying to change the operating name

any ideas ?

Changing the voice codec used to be the solution for the 6700... I did a search in the Titan forums and didn't find anything, so I'll try myself and let you know.

How to increase in call volume and voice quality:
Dial ##778#
Enter your MSL
Tap "View Info" and go onto the CDMA Settings
Change EVRC Enable to Disable
Change Home Page to Voice 13k
Change Home Orig to Voice 13k
Tap OK, then Yes then OK again to reset the device.

So far so good on my 6800... voice quality is good and sound is loud and clear.

*edit* Works with mpeg4 and motion jpeg capture formats, 3gp doesnt work great and h.263 doesnt record

*edit2* change teh capsize reg from 10 to 58, sorry, when copying quotes from xda to here, 8 ) comes off as a smiley

Well... as good as it sounds, it doesn't work. You can click the icon in the camera program to select the higher resolution, however the camera craps out and says

"Unable to start recording video. The video recorder cannot encode this kind of video format."

Good start I suppose?

You need to use the mpeg or jpeg video format, h.263 or 3gpp2 arent tested

change your capture format and youll be alright
