The process is the same whether u have the 6900 or the 6800. watch the videos at the bottom of post 1 if u are still having trouble

you will need to add the port. there is a button that says add port. use that button. read the 1st post again or watch the videos to see how this is done.

Is this fix still working, or has VZW caught on already? I just switched to a new 6800 and applied this fix and it's not working anymore.

What ip are you using? I just did a hard reset to mine and applied the vahalla fix and it works. I know the altell ip works as well really well so I change my phone to that since that is what worked out better when the "agps" saga started.

Telus server (from VZW phone) stopped working for me tonight. Any other VZW or Telus users having problems on phones that did work? Just switched to Alltel server, and it appears to be failing too. I'll try going back to VZW next, but I am thinking either my phone is broke, or VZW caught on and is blocking access to other carrier's servers now.

Problem appears to have resolved itself overnight. Must have been a local issue since I talked to others on a different forum that were not having the issue.

Excellent information! I've been out of the loop for awhile and just flashed my 6800 to the lastest Tplane winmo 6.5 rom. Applied this fix and got a lock faster than I ever have before. It's working beautifully.

Okay, I seem to be having a problem. I can't get a lock. I've gone through the steps but all I get is "Seeking GPS satellites (0)". I've checked to make sure the IP address, ports, etc. all all correct and they are.

That said, I have the XV6800 running build 21202 Beta 1.0 from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=497303

Under Device Information, however, the ROM version says 3.08.666.1, but it's windows mobile 6.5 so I am not sure why the number is so low. My radio version is 3.37.75. My carrier is Verizon. Is there something I am doing wrong (I must be)?

Also, I have tried the Verizon and Telus settings and neither seem to work for me.
