also as of this past monday metropcs has changed from wap to ip so wap.metropcs.net dosent work for internet explorer, it may work for skyfire or opera but its extremely slow, if someone gets ahold of that ip please let us know im working on it with no go

In the Security settings there is a place for HDR AN AUTH Password (long).... what is supposed to go there. With all the edits I mistakenly deleted the gibberish that was there and am not sure if that is the reason I cannot connect to MetroWeb with a Houdini ESNed Mogul with a MetroPCS cooked rom.

Any suggestions ?

Also does the post above regarding the wap to ip change mean that MetroPCS web access has changed and that all the posts on the last 20 pages here and countless others on the web are not going to work anymore ?

so far all ive gotten to work are skyfire on some phones and opera mini on others ive not seen internet explorer working since last monday on any metro houdini phones

mine still works using internet explorer and opera i cant get skyfire to work i gave up on it sometime ago the speeds are about the same as they always have been though

I have PPC-6800 that worked fine with metro. The internet stopped working and none of the settings posted have worked for me ? does anyone have any suggestions that i can try. Im desparate

ok everyone i have a touch pro, i have everything working again. this is what u need to do. change primary address in the phone settings under ##778# to 212.93.193.83! then reset your phone. your internet settings stays the same which is wap.metropcs.net port 3128 and 443 on "secure wap" the 2nd before last(correct me if im wrong) in internet settings. then in internet explorer u have to change view settings to mobile. opera wont work! now find the cab ryans mogul wap and mms cab for metropcs to get all ur settings correctly if u dont know what u are doing!but the main key here is to change the ip address to 212.93.193.83 and internet explorer to mobile view and its going to work

go to phone dial ##778#, hit edit, type in 000000, then go to m.ip address to edit primary ha address to 212. 93.193.83

Hello I have a HTC Touch Pro PPC6850SP,
My Phone and Texts are working fine but my Internet is not and I have MetroWeb on my account.

I do notice when I click start>settings>system>device information, I see the previous owners # 404707****@mymetropcs.com in the Current username field below ESN. Isn't my # suppose to be there?

PLEASE HELP!
