I think you've missed my point most likely due to jethro going off on a tangent about UMPCs and warez and overall stupidity. This will most likely work right at some point. Would it be cool to run on your phone? Sure. Would it be cool to replace WM6 with Windows 95/98/XP? Sure. Would it be smart? Probably not. If you do this because you're bored with your phone then yes you'll find a solution to being bored with your WM6 phone. But then you'll eventually be bored with your Windows XP phone that can't make calls. If you want to do it then go right ahead and do it. Nobody's stopping you. Even if there was interest in this here there's only 1 guy doing anything with it (so far) and he's over at xda.

Yes...you're absolutely right. My problem was that this wasn't the goal of the guys over at xda. They're looking to actually replace their device's OS with XP. From the looks of it they got tired of the emulator and wanted to take it a step further. Now if you could get your phone to dual boot then that would be even more incredible.

anyways, after consideration of an possible xp mod to a phone, it seems like a feasible idea. however implementation wouldn't work very well considering it is x86 after all. have to see how it would run though. speed is almost always an issue.
