Re: windows 98/XP on PDA!!!!!

when i wanna make a call, i'll exit out the emulation and call from 6.1.

i don't think the outlook is to replace the phones OS...but to add windows 98 on the phone.

that would be great but the thing is, It still runs very slow and not compatible with all PPC's as of yet. They are still developing it. One more thing, If U look at the poll, Who would like to embed the OS on the rom. Meaning, flash it with th OS. Amazingly, a lot of people are willing to do it.

I would like to see xp on a 2.8 inch screen. Thae smallest UMPC is 4.3 inch I think. It's the raon vega. it's older but I would like to have that 1 too.

New version? LOL

And for the record I didn't say it wouldn't work...I said it would take a lot of effort to get it to work right. Not sure that the returns merit the amount of effort needed. There's plenty of talent over there so I'm sure they'll eventually get it to work. It's been 8+ months since that whole thing started and he's gotten ahead somewhat so I don't doubt that eventually he'll get something going.

U never heard of XP ultimate? LOL It's windows XP modded to run and look like vista. I also have OSX86 to be installed as dual boot. Best of all worlds. U have a lot of searching to do buddy.

Re: windows 98/XP on PDA!!!!!

Windows XP ultimate...hmmm...did a quick search on Google and guess what comes up...a bunch of Torrent/warez sites That's far from being legit. If it's what I think it is then it's just a copy of XP pre-loaded with a bunch of software and made into an ISO. Hardly anything legal or something you can buy at the store or anywhere. So now you're trying to convince me that somethin called XP Ultimate, which is a warez/hacked version of Windows XP which I don't know where it's been, is what's in and that everyone should have it and is better than any other Windows OS out there? Get real bro...

Yes! Several users dual boot XP/Vista on MAC, the main reason is gaming...
