Thats messed up, I work for Northrop Grumman and they tried to do the same thing for a while but they got enough complaints to where they changed their policy. I personally have a Mogul and a nextel blackberry. My nextel doesn't have a camera...

I work for a military contractor, we have a no "picture taking" policy... but they don't care if you have a camera.

If there is a way to take the camera out of the Mogul, I would love to know how. I just got a replacement mogul for one that still works, but I cant replace my 6700 unless I can take out the camera for work. Appears to be a lot more complicated than 6700 camera removal.

This is my idea too. Just load up Kitchen and build your own ROM and make sure you don't select a camera. Problem solved.

I think it is doubtful that the ROM option would be considered satisfactory as one could reflash from an SD card. Also would be nice to make camera work w/o flashing the ROM each time. Guess I will see how Apache works with WM6.1, but built in GPS is nice on Titan. Thanks.

yeah, its a total pita with the no camera policy, i just started working as an NDE technician and when i go into the "secure areas" in the nuclear plant i wouldnt be able to have my titan in there so im just gonna leave it in my car. its a little more strict than "showing them it doesnt work" or something equally as silly. ill probly jjust end up getting another phone thats a little more basic for that exact reason
