I'm needing help here too... I haven't figured out how to send files via bluetooth...
This was the first thread I found pertaining to this subject... Sorry to get your hopes up Jory... but I don't know either ![]() |

SEND means send via email, BEAM means to beam via either IR or bluetooth. When you select beam, at first it says IR, "tap to send," If you wait a moment, it will search for bluetooth devices, and add them to the list as it finds them. (You should see your blue led blinking) Usually it says "unknown device" for a moment before it comes up with the device's name. You don't even have to have bluetooth turned on to do this. It will turn itself on to search and send, and then turn itself back off when you exit the screen.
When trying to RECEIVE files via bluetooth, you must do three things... 1) turn on bluetooth, 2) make your device visible, 3) Settings>Beam>Receive all incoming beams checked. If you do not enable beams, the person sending you files will get an error. I don't know WHY you have to enable receiving of IR BEAMS to get your BLUETOOTH beams to work, but you just do.
