Re: Extended battery

I was actually more referring to a battery pack with a USB cable (retractable even) attached to it, though I suppose that works as well.

still damn debating. but i'm sure with any of the three offerings, i'll be just fine. the fourth option for me would be the cheapie 2400mah eflay batteries. i've heard mixed reports on those. i was leaning toward the seidio last night, but tonight i am drooling over the OEM 2100.

and btw gxnext, be careful. that fingerstrap/wrist strap looks kinda thin where it connects to the titan/mogul.

I wanted more bang for the buck, I figure I'll likely be upgrading to the touch pro at some point just like I upgraded to the mogul from the 6700, now the 2gb memory card and extended battery is sitting right here collecting dust... and I know I should sell it on ebay but as sad as it is I have a habit of holding on to things... never know when they might become useful so anyway... I had a really tuff time not getting the more powerful battery but the price was just too good for me to pass up the oem extended battery, and looking at the moguls extended oem battery compared to the apache seidio extended battery I own... the craftsmanship is alot better with the moguls oem... but thats not to say seido products arn't great, for all I know the oem apache's extended battery could look exactly the same or be the same quality... If anything im just saying im satisfied with the quality of this oem battery for the $34.99 price I payed including shipping..... umm.... I figured instead of paying 60 whatever dollars on just a battery I'd get a battery and a 8gb memory card so I can throw all my music on there, and that's what I did, I already have bluetooth headphones, and for the first two days I had the extended battery I was trying to train it by killing it from letting it continuously play music as much as possible, it took me two days to kill it so the 2100mAh ain't that bad, I mean i didn't leave the music playing while I was sleep so my results aren't scientific or anything lol ... as far as a case.. yeah your right seidio make their own cases for their extended battery, and I had one for the 6700, and its sitting right here as well lol, the belt clip broke within the first month if memory serves me well.... thos rotating belt clips always seem to ware out quickly from my experiences so instead of getting a case designed to fit exactly my phone I got two universal golla mobile bags, which will do just swell for my current phone and any future phone. i really don't need a body protector i put the wrist strap to good use...
well i have more of a finger strap..... but that's because I personalized it for my needs.... I sorta created this myself from a usb keychain and a camera lens cover....hard to explain...

and this is where I was going with the universal golla bags

this way I can hold my phone, my spare battery, ... maybe some headphones.... maybe my wallet... and I go to sixflags often so I need a secure low key cellphone bag like this.... so i won't loose it on a rollercoster... and won't have to leave it in the car... Ill figure it out lol but anyway... yeah I wanted the seidio, but decided to be different lol...
The $ you paid was not paid for the 2100 I think the oem exteneded batter looks like this... So you can see the difference between the regular HTC Extended battery and the Seidio 3500. I think if you get they battery door from Seidio 3200 or 3500 batteries and still use the mugen power 3600 battery then you can still use the sedio extended rubber case (a phone condom) or at least i think u can provided that the seidio is the same thickness or more thicker then the mugen power.

Also try out the solar charger that I found (pic below) at http://www.moguldepot.com/solio-sola...r/5A58A612.htm It should also work on any mini usb device that charges from the minusb port.

I hope training your battery improves its lifespan, but from what I hear the first charge is the most important, so possibly you could have already shorted it permanently... hopefully im wrong...
haha, I hope you are too. It's not like I got great battery life before on the stock 1500mah battery though, it was like 8 hours of life if I used it heavily. But I have bad service at home, it's constantly switching between EVDO and 1X and I'm lucky to have a bar on the phone (E815 would have 4-5 out of 6 nearly all the time). What kind of service are you getting where you are the majority of the time, because I think that plays a large role in the life of the battery? Even so, this is a major disappointment for $85, and if I return it they give out a BS 15% restocking fee and I'd end up paying for shipping and not get back the bank charge that Lion charged since they are based in Canada. It's not like I bought this thing from some oddball company, I read good things about Lion Battery before I bought from them.

LOL, I will be careful. with my last mogul it broke the part of the mogul that it connects to, so I might actually prefer it brakes rather than the mogul.

but I actually don't think its going to brake, It's stronger than it appears, im actually more concerned about the metal part coming loose than anything...

and its exactly the same as most cellphone/wrist straps includeing the psp...

my OEM HTC 2100mAh battery dose looks like that...
yep, its very different from seidio indeed.

sorry for the confusion.... apparently im not very good at this lol

That solar charger looks interesting, not very useful for me but its good that you brought it up... its a option for some people.

Where I live i'm only getting 1-2 bars right now..., but the power is out all over the entire county at the moment... so that might have something to do with the low bars, because I usually have more bars than that here.... and explains why ppl are having trouble calling me right now, and why I had trouble calling my uncle.. lol police are zooming up and down the street.. directing traffic... apparently because of the heatwave a transformer exploded ...but yeah... I usually have full bars I believe.... I live less than 30 mins away from Manhattan depending on how I get there, so my coverage is usually up there...

I lived in NYC for 6 years. Yeah, that explains it though, you always have full service anywhere in the city or anywhere nearby for that matter regardless of your provider. I'm 30 minutes outside of Boston and the service here is iffy depending on where you are.

lol, well look at it this way.... your prolly less likely to get cancer that way.

I don't have my extended battery in but it seems like my battery is draining faster, and just acting really funny in general with this power outage... maybe its just my imagination. Ok power's been restored, and I have evdo and 4 bars.
