Extended battery

So im looking to get an extended battery for the mogul, in my past experience with ppc 6700 i had used a seidio extended battery, and it made my phone like a monster in my pocket, the extended battery was to big to keep on it so i reverted to an extended oem battery. Has anyone here have any experiences with an extended oem battery (higher capacity) as far as use time before charging and the extended battery with cover replacement, how much thicker does it make the mogul, and are there any better battery manufactors other then seidio? Thanks for the reply

I went thru 3 other manufacturers trying to combat this and really couldnt find an acceptable OEM size extended life battery. The ones that added no thickness, did not really give me more time so I ended up going to the monster. On the plus side, with the Sedio Holster it still works with the screen in so I did not have to get a new holster or pouch. As far as thicker it adds about a half inch or so to the thickness which I can live with. What I hate is the replacement batt covers which never seem to fit snugly and feel as though they are hanging on by a thread (actually 3 plastic thin tabs).

Re: Extended battery

If you dont want to make your phone thicker, you can always go for seidios oem sized 1650 mah battery (http://cgi.ebay.com/647-Seidio-1650m...QQcmdZViewItem), but you'll only get about 10% more battery life. If you decide on a true extended battery, you will need to go for a decent brand battery like Audiovox, those cheap chinese batteries dont last anywhere near what they advertise, for a decent price id recomend one of these 2100 mah batteries for $29.99. Re: Extended battery

i bought the 3200 seidio battery and love it i got two of them and lost one. I just ordered the 3500 on friday and should be here any day. also ordered the extened holster clip and rubber case for the extened battery from sadio. Sadio does use a different design for the battery and cover is more squareish and not rised in the middle like the regular htc extended battery so your hard protective cases are limited to sadio so far,. i noticed one extened metel case but was for the audiovox or mugen power batteries.

hmm i may look into seidio again, i just remember my ppc6700 with the seidio extended battery, and it was a monster, combine it with a case and it just becomes Godzilla.. i only have enough room to comfortably fit one monster in my pants
