WHITE LED? My LED turns bright white and stays lit...

moving on,

I have a mogul and I noticed when I am on the phone for a while and it is connected to my charger (oem sprint wall charger) the white LED that usually indicates a data transfer or bluetooth connection turns BRIGHT white. I usually have to unplug the charger and/or sometimes soft reset to get it to turn off. any ideas?

I have 3.35 rom and radio installed off of the sprint website and no funny programs or regedits other than the usual ones. no damage to the phone either.
