Re: What's the best mobile internet browser?

Ive tried Opera Mobile 9.3 beta, Opera Mobile 8.5, Opera Mini 4, PIE, and Skyfire.
Opera Mobile is the winner hands down, but since it doesnt work well playing flash movies ie youtube, i use PIE for that. Skyfire was a disappointment. Painstakingly slow rendering, and the flash audio shows its compression badly.

Re: What's the best mobile internet browser?

I'm using Opera Mini 4.1 it's ok. I'd prefer not to use java, but it's not a huge issue. I can scroll easily and reading is ok. It's speed is pretty good.
I don't like the whole permissions thing. It just gets annoying. It turns the Save Page tool into a huge hassle.

How is Opera Mobile 9.x better for reading? And it's not java, right?

I've tried skyfire and the prospect is nice but It's to slow for me for one. I can't get the buttons to work part of the time. I also can't zoom in very far when reading. Anyway will see how it is in the coming months. I'd like for it to work.
