Olipro should charge for use of his bootloader.

no. he'd have so much money, he'd just pay someone else to develop it for him, and then the bootloader would be all doo-doo flavored.

Re: So my "brand new" phone came out of the box with 2.40 Olipro

I have seen new phones from Verizon come with Olipro but the earlier versions not the 2.40 variety.
The phone was operating pretty badly in fact and I had to relock it and flash a stock Verizon Rom onto it to get it to work for one of my staff! LOL

I'm sure it's a refurb despite what the internals say.

when flashing to olipro a temporary bootloader is loaded. This bootloader also says olipro maybe that is what you are seeing.

I've checked the refurbishment status and it says no with no date.

I'm kind of wondering if anyone else has ever heard of this before? Its definitely a brand new phone as Asurion sent me the entire kit but I'm just kind of confused as to why it was unlocked out of the box. It had the stock 3.35 Sprint ROM on there and everything but I put it in bootloader mode (I always do this before flashing anything) and it said 2.40.Olipro
when you first activate the titan unlocker by hooking up to activesync and then running the exe, it puts the phone into bootloader,, it will say olipro 2.40 because it has loaded a temporary version of olipro into the upper memory that is what allows it to actually load the full bootloader into the phone permenantly,,,

I am well aware of this, thank you, but this is not the case.

If you read my post, I put my phone in bootloader mode before even trying to run the EXE (which I know doesn't work for the flash but its habit because I have a 100% success rate with flashes direct from the bootloader) and it was already on 2.40 Olipro. Basically, I never got to run the EXE.

Re: So my "brand new" phone came out of the box with 2.40 Olipro

Yeah I thought so too.

The phone has no signs of being refurbished in any way - the screen is flawless, the battery connector is flawless, USB connector is flawless... I can't find any defects in the phone or the screen no matter where I look. But it did indeed come with the 2.40 Olipro bootloader out of the box. Weird, no?
