GPS is funny...

yeah thats normal, its the default location for google maps when searching for GPS. sometimes when mine is searching for satellites, it will use AGPS and go to the nearest tower, which is at the high school. leave it on for a little bit and it will eventually find you. but it will take longer indoors.

Woooo.... GMaps won't work, but Live Search is sweeeeet.

Drove home from work today with that baby on, chose less trafficy way (its a guessing game every day), and almost got in like 4 accidents because I was messing with the PPC gps.

I don't know if these tweaks are going to be of any use to you - but I got this handset imported to india - GPS never worked - fiddled around till I got it up and running with standalone giving me an exact fix in under 11 seconds :

Try Live Search, and see where it puts you when you connet to GPS. I have had great success with live search.

Well, we probably didn't so much sell it to Nigeria as we did lose it to them in another one of those advance fee frauds...

thanks for this post.. i've picked up GPS TEST from this, which so far is working out great as a primer.. i havent had any luck with any other primer/plugins, except Holux Viewer... and that ones been acting up lately.. this looks like it could be the winning ticket for me..
