Thumbs up Re: voice command and caller id

Rain Freak, you are a genius. Thanks for you help. The call announcement fix works perfectly on my verizon 6800. Have you by any chance found something for the Bluetooth confirmation issue besides disabling confirmation? My roommate's tilt works perfectly with bt, including voice confirmation over the bluetooth (motorola H12). I don't know if I'm saying anything you don't already know, but his ROM is 1.62.502.0 Radio is 1.27.14.09. and VC is 1.60.17913. I would love to have this working on my phone too if anyone knows how I can get this done, please HELP... Thanks

Re: voice command and caller id

hey rain, i got the file to go into windows, and the ppc file into voice command but voicecommand.res and the exe file will not go into the voice command folder under program files. just get the extraction error for storage full or read only. the two files in your list do not have read only checked when I looked in properties, so i am stuck

Re: voice command and caller id

You have to uncheck "Enabled" and click ok on the Voice Command screen so it's not running, before you can overwrite the files.

Re: voice command and caller id

For those having problems overwriting files, either disable under settings and restart or use a task manager and kill the task first.

Just wanted to throw my 0.02 in... This fix (rainfreak's message #3 in this post) worked well for me on my Mogul with VC 1.6 and VetVito's bone stock WM 6.1.

Re: voice command and caller id

I actually renamed the old files (in case I needed them), then just copied the new ones in.

Re: voice command and caller id

I have a 4GB and two 2Gb cards for my Mogul. One 2GB is just music, one 2GB is applications (CAB version) and the 4GB is all movies and music. I copy all CABs to my storage card, then install from there. Then, if I like the program, I just leave it there.

The main reason I do this is because I flash my phone with a new rom at least once per week and it makes it easier for me to reinstall the stuff that I like.

Re: voice command and caller id

Thanks to everone here for the help on VC -- the caller ID feature is really great and without all of you here I would not have been able to figure it out.
