As far as the efficacy of the procedure, I'm planning on reflashing this weekend and will see if I can't do the whole thing over again. Maybe I'll even take screenshots. Wheeee! |

Re: Threaded SMS (txt) Backup / Restore
I have tried this with several different PIM back up programs, and different registry settings, different patterns, leaving text messaging on/off (in memory,) and having threaded on and off.
No matter what I do, I always get the conversations out of order, with me last... and missing a LOT of texts. going to old-style SMS fixes it, but I wouldn't really call that a fix... |

Re: Threaded SMS (txt) Backup / Restore
i know this thread is old.... but i think i just got it... using pimbackup
*no need to disable threaded, just fire up pimbackup *select only to restore text messages *choose only inbox OR sent (pick one) *go! *go to text messages and watch them sort, wait for it to finish *go back to pimbackup *choose only inbox OR sent (the one you didnt do the first time) *!!!ADD OR IMPORT ONLY NEW MESSAGES!!! *go! *watch your texts sort again |
