That is a lot of posts *sarcasm*. I am familiar with the products and the related discussions on this forum, was just surprised to see a mainstream article. I wasn't trying to introduce anyone to something brand new, just pointing out that something we discuss everday made the news.

I probably should have put here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...t=WMWifiRouter, or one of the other 17,073 posts, I'll give you that. I probably jumped the gun a bit, but based on the fact that I think this is the first thread (other than in Off Topic) I've ever started, I am far from the biggest offender. Mods, delete if you wish.

Re: Mogul and WMWifirouter in the news

Not "free" but only for the cost of your data plan. wmwifi is a killer app for me although it's not quite as reliable as a regular wired connection. I have been using wmwifi on a regular basis for a while now. I just hope the carriers don't read all this publicity and somehow block it.

Re: Mogul and WMWifirouter in the news

I thought WMWifirouter was a bit of free software... when did they start charging for it?

Re: Mogul and WMWifirouter in the news

It does seem like it circumvents their attempts to charge for a special plan to tether. They'll try to roll out a phone as a hotspot plan. lol!

Re: Mogul and WMWifirouter in the news

personally i would rather this not be in the news. the more people that know about it the more people that will want to do it. sooner or later sprint will put the foot down, and id rather it be later...much MUCH later.
