That's because the actual name of the app is acbToggleBT.

Re: TeleNav vs. Other Paid GPS Progrms

Hey Yay 4 Juggs....

Have you been happy with Garmin so far? I am a Garmin fan personally...use their standalone units. I tried their mobile on a friends phone and it seemed to be lacking a lot of POIs - places that have been there for a while don't show, etc.

How often do they update POIs and maps? Where do you download the updates?

Any info you have would be appreciated!

Thanks,
-David

Check this thread out. It has the links to add as many POI's that you want to Garmin XT. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=22298

I've been using Telenav with my past 2 phones and now with the Mogul. You don't need any special programs to hear the audio through BT. The Mogul will do it automatically if your BT is paired with the phone.

Overall I've been very happy with Telenav. Granted there have been a few times I've had login errors or it won't connect very fast in a poor signal area, but it has been a life saver on many occasions. I think it is the easiest program to get up-to-date maps and POI's.

The biggest negative for me is battery life. Running around a major city for a few hours will really drain the battery, so some sort of car cradle with charging is a must.

I have been playing with iGo for the last few days, and compared to Tom Tom, and some of the others, I love it! If you have any questions about it, message me.

Re: TeleNav vs. Other Paid GPS Progrms

i just picked up the garmin mobile xt for my mogul...99 bux gives you unlim updates poi...traffic...weather...etc...havent taken it on the road yet but from playing with it here in the house seems to out perform my standalone gps device in the truck...the best part...you only load the maps you want or need...say you're pretty much in the wny area...you're not gonna load a map for carlsbad are you? no...so you just use the mapping tool to select the area you want and whammy it even loads rte info for you...currently i have all of wny southern ontario erie pa and northe east ohio loaded and the file size that it packs for me on my storage card...82mb...i have a 4 gig card with plenty of space so ill never have to worry as bigger cards get cheaper and cheaper

Re: TeleNav vs. Other Paid GPS Progrms

Question: One thing I find a bit irritating with Telenav is that it doesn't have a built in option to search contacts to quickly input your destination like Live Search does. I was a bit surprised because it's something that integrated with the Sprint device. Am I overlooking this feature or am I right to say that it isn't available?

Re: TeleNav vs. Other Paid GPS Progrms

The space is not a problem, but with Tom Tom you have to have all these maps and if I'm only using it locally (Baltimore-Washington area), I dont need all those maps.
