Re: TeleNav vs. Other Paid GPS Progrms

i miss mapopolis

i like the idea of turn-by-turn directions, but i prefer using the GPS as a moving map, in case i have to reroute on the fly.
So far, Live Search has worked very well for me for free.
The reason i can't justify telenav is that I got power vision for $10/mo.

of all the GPS programs, like Garmin Mobile XT, which of those are available via download?
i have an 8 GB card, and i like to use my Mogul for tunes and stuff as well

Mecreyes, are you using ArcPad on the Sprint Mogul with the new EV-DO Rev. A upgrade that enables GPS? If so, does it work well? I'm looking into buying a smartphone on the sprint network and the Mogul suits my needs the best out of their smartphones... However, I need a phone that runs ArcPad well... so, if the Mogul does not, I need to look into getting something else. Please let me know, thanks.

Re: TeleNav vs. Other Paid GPS Progrms

Did i mention that you can get Mapquest working on the mogul?

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=22831

limited time offer of a 30 day no-hassle trial.
make sure you download the "tilt" cab from the OTA site, as that one will use the internal GPS.
use the AstroGPSLauncher from XDA for extra ease of use.

Oh, and for now it's like $50/year
and it has night mode!
