I emailed HTC to see if they can tell me anything about the crashes. I suspect Microsoft would be hopeless is getting an answer.
So far I don't have lockups on the Titan using cell positioning only.

I'll have to try that. I switched back to v.3.5.1.3 and it freezes up on me almost every time

Here is how I now log on trips. I use the titan in cell positioning to log cdma towers and I use my tilt to log aps and gsm cells. So far it is working great. This also helps since I use garmin and the combination with navizon almost made phone calls impossbile while they are both running.

I havn't even gotten 1 reward point worth of cell towers yet, and most of those are from the last few weeks, when I was out in the boonies.
so i'm not sure why everyone's so concerned about the cell detection. we have a phone with built in gps and the points really come from the wifi.

speaking of which they should really make a version to run on the psp, ect.. more paying customers..

Wow, to whoever has the above total. That's quite a bit. I'm only at 5301 wifi discovered by me for 15903 points. My point total is only 28508 but I only started using this app sometime around December 08 or January 09.

Cell detection is great because cell towers discovered by you are worth 15 points each vs. say 3 points for wifi APs discovered by you.

This app would be so perfect for taxi drivers, shuttle drivers or delivery people.

Thanks for the beta version. So far no crashes on my Mogul running Tplane's WM 6.5 21501 build. Only problem is if I hit Menu>Exit it freezes. I can only exit and close with CamerAware.

I havn't hardly been anywhere lately, and I gave my 2nd line to my sis-law, so I haven't actually tested it yet. will make a point of it this weekend though.

Try out the new version. I and a few others PPCGeekers I selected have done a lot of beta testing to work out many bugs. The many freezes should be eliminated or reduced greatly. Also vga screens are now supported properly.

using latest version of navizon. The vga is nice to have. I have the touch pro. But still no go on using cell positioning.
