Re: Keyboard backlight not turning on after upgrade
I had this problem after the no2chem upgrade, it worked perfectly after the sprint 3.35 upgrade, but unchecking the sensor fixed the problem for me. Now it comes on immediately after sliding out the keyboard even when there is plenty of light, but I can live with extra battery hit.

Re: Keyboard backlight not turning on after upgrade
it wont come on till it's done re-drawing everything running on the today screen and the app you are running. I have a minimalist today screen with just spb time, windows date plugin, O2 meters, and messaging. and keyboard light is on in less than 2 seconds

I found that htc home slowed the device down quite a bit, and looked awful in landscape.

Problem solved by turning the screen brightness in setting from lowest to one slot brighter. The whole phone lit up after that (I was changing the setting in a pitch dark room just to make sure it worked.)
Seems like a brightness setting mix up in the software. |

Re: Keyboard backlight not turning on after upgrade
Just a follow up as well. They will flicker on everytime I tap the screen or push a hardware button. It so fast that it is only a fraction of a second.
I am starting to wonder if this is a phone issue or a ROM issue. This is a replacement phone when I did not have an XP machine to unbrick my phone from the dreaded 238 error when I attempted to upgrade my previous phone. |
