well that's just crazy talk.

but seriously though, i've never seen or heard of any way to do this. but for what it's worth, all your hardware buttons can still do their thing regardless of the fact that tomtom runs fullscreen.

Re: TomTom 6

Follow a_lazy_dude's instructions and it should work. I use Resco Explorer so much I didn't realize the built in Explorer could create a shortcut file as well.

Re: TomTom 6

Does clicking on the file that you mentioned in the OP still launch TomTom?

If not, it sounds like you must have moved/deleted/corrupted a file somewhere before your post #7 in this thread.

If clicking that file does still work, then you must have missed or misread a step somewhere and should give it another shot, double checking that you're not skipping/misreading any steps (i.e. make sure you select "paste shortcut" and NOT "paste" in step #7) ... also, after you're done... make sure that in your Programs list, you're actually selecting the new shortcut you just made, and not one of the older, botched shortcuts

Re: TomTom 6

Do you have a legit copy of TT6 (don't answer that)

The reason why I asked is, once you insert the storage card in your PPC it will run the autostart. The first thing the auto start does is detect if there is an installed copy; if not it will run the installer and install a shortcut either in your Start Menu or Programs folder. In fact it will also install a Today Plugin for easy access
