Roaming Issues on ALL Moguls

Something interesting I noticed about this HLR reload/roaming fix.

I had a mogul, Rom 2.09. Roaming worked fine. I upgraded to the latest rom (3.56 i believe) and roaming stopped working. This HLR reload fixed it, however I got a ridiculious amount of repeated txt messages whenever I was roaming, also when I'd switch back to sprint it would flow in messages missed from days before, i suppose the stuck message(s) prevented new messages from coming.

Then I:

downgraded to 3.35 rom. Roaming still worked, texts still came in duplicated.

downgraded to 3.16 rom. Roaming still worked, texts still come in duplicated.

downgraded to 2.09 rom. I skipped 2.17 because I KNOW it worked at 2.09 (roaming AND non-duplicated texts). I could not do this without running titan_relocker, search for it if you need it. I received invalid command error 328 i think it was. After putting 2.09 on, BAM, roaming does not work anymore. I assume I'll need another HLR reload.

Im wondering if the different radio versions (1.32 from the 2.09 rom update) and 3.x radio in the 3.x roms are not compatible with HLR settings from each other.

In any case, I have discovered its likely that HLR reload is necessary if you cross that line, either 2.x -> 3.x or 3.x -> 2.x.

Just thought I'd throw that out there, it may help someone troubleshoot something in the future. These threads stick around for a long time!
