Re: Roaming Issues on ALL Moguls

I never had any problem, using stock ROM and Radio (latest official versions of each). In fact, I was roaming on Alltel for 3 days straight and never even knew it because there is no roaming indicator.

Re: Roaming Issues on ALL Moguls

This seems to happen when people need to reprogram their phone...For some reason verizon won't authenticate it...as even verizon users are having this problem as well.

Re: Roaming Issues on ALL Moguls

No problem here in Buffalo, NY with the latest stock ROM and Radio. However, for months now, every time I force my phone over to ROAMING ONLY, it locks up on my and requires a soft reset. Anyone have a fix for that?

Re: Roaming Issues on ALL Moguls

If you are manually changing then you could be getting an authentication problem from switching back and forth quickly. Does it happen if you allow it to automatically switch?

Re: Roaming Issues on ALL Moguls

Those were my versions as well when I was using the Mogul.

I did have the same issue as you when I would force the phone to roam...the phone would freeze and I would need to reset

Thats your problem, Use PRL 60610. You might also want to try radio version 1.40. Do not use PRL 60611 as this specific one has always caused problems for me. If your going to use PRL 60711, Make sure you downgrade to 60610 first, reboot, then upgrade to 60711. Apparently 60611 sets a different roaming parameter (Learned that the hard way)
