Re: Ultimate Launcher
One other question that should be simple... I couldn't figure out how to get the stock calendar plugin to show... it never showed up under my options to even add it to a screen.. Did I miss something stupid?

Re: Ultimate Launcher
I would like to know too... right now I'm using a plugin called calplus.cab. Its only problem is that it takes a while to refresh sometimes.

Re: Ultimate Launcher
The calandar and Task plugins dont like to play nicely with UL. There is a registry setting i was able to change to make them appear but then they wouldnt load like you guys are describing. I was just testing for another user as I use Pocket Informant but I think those two (and maybe other "standard" plugins like key lock) wont load in UL. I use BatteryStatus and it works like a champ so i dont exactly know why you would be having problems with that one. Does it do it all the time or just occasionally?

Re: Ultimate Launcher
You can use battery status to trick it into displaying tasks and task list. it is a little tricky, but it is doable. Need to know how to make registry calls.

Re: Ultimate Launcher
If you look around in the BatteryStatus forums at XDA you can see that BattStat does all sorts of things. I have yet to try to familarize myself with the XML yet. Maybe this weekend i will read though all of that. (damn i really am a geek)

Re: Ultimate Launcher
It's an amazing application. i've been hooked since I installed it a while ago. I even stay up late in to the wee hourse and play with the config xml. if you have ny prog experience you can make this thing amazing!
Plus there is so much info over on XDA forums too. Plus BS and UL together is great! if I knew how to get screengrabs off fo my phone I would post a pick of my setup |

Re: Ultimate Launcher
I recently put back the ultimate launcher control icon back on the launcher. unfortunately it just looks like a generic program icon. Can someone go in and tell me what the icon is that they use. Can they also go see if it is exe or lnk. thanks
