I know on the jp HTC site they have phones that are 3.5g compatible. However i am not sure about the speeds. If you wants information like that, the speeds should be advertised some where.

EVDO = 700 kps, EDGE = 200 kps.
right now sprint & verizon's EVDO is the fastest, plus EVDO REV A is avail in a lot a areas now and it doubles the EVDO speeds. Sorry ATT and Cingular are a lot slower. Sprint has the best deals (at least right now - it changes often) when it comes to $ if you plan to use it a lot. Posted with ForumPilot Freeware v1.1 |

Here's 2 tests from different testing sites...
1st from Speakeasy.net/speedtest, not bad but the closest test site was LA from Phoenix... 2nd from speedtest.net, chose the recommended test site.... you decide... Last edited by azclown; 04-11-2008 at 12:54 PM. |

They are starting to roll out WiMax in my city and some others. I don't have any devices for it but I hope to have it integrated when I get a new phone in a year or two.

Here's my results for Bell. I am tethered to my laptop, and about 1 hour south of Grande Prairie, AB, in the middle of the woods here. I'm pretty happy with the results, I think.
