Re: Official Discussion of SprintTV on Mogul - No Longer Working 02/06

Hi, I went to the original link to download sprint tv and it says it was removed by the moderator. Can someone resubmit it? Or send the link to where i can download it? Thanks!

SprintTV is provided by MobiTV. MobiTV contacted PPCGeeks and asked to have all links and attachments removed because it is their intellectual property.

As it is, SprintTV does not work on the Mogul. When/if it is ever officially released to Mogul users, you will probably get it in a ROM or CAB update from Sprint.

In the meantime, you will not be able to find it posted on PPCGeeks.

Doubt it since the Mogul was never advertised to have SprintTV and I remember someone saying that plans like the Vision plan usually have a disclaimer that the services will be provided as long as the device supports it.
Good point, but the disclaimer has holes in it. The Mogul does support SprintTV. We've already seen that the same program that is on the touch works on the Mogul, so the device does support it. Sprint just doesn't want to support it on the mogul because they'll likely get inundated with phone calls when people can't run anything else at the same time or it crashes because it runs out of RAM.

Oh well, maybe the mogul2 will support it. (just speculation)

Is there any way to modify the registry on the MOGUL to make it look like a TOUCH across the network?

What I meant to say is that the device is not advertised to support it, and by support I did not specifically meant that the hardware can run it.

We obviously know the device can run it, same as Picture Mail, however... the devices were not advertised to have/support it.

Well thats the thing, Sprint is currently offering the PoctketStreamer Deuxe which includes the tv, radio, music, etc. and a Picture Mail but they want you to pay for it. They want $24.99 for the PoctketStreamer Deuxe and $19.99 for the Picture Mail program. So I really doubt they will provide us with a file to download it for free. They just want people who own moguls to buy it. People with the Palm phones automatically have it on their phone. That really sucks...

So Sad! I just downloaded Sprint TV onto my sons' Samsung MM-A920. Works perfectly. What the hell is the problem with Sprint's PPC's
?

Re: Official Discussion of SprintTV on Mogul - No Longer Working 02/06

its because they're not offering the service to any moguls. If you try to use SprintTV you will get no channels. There is just no way around it. I have MobiTV 2 on my phone. I Pay 9.99 a month and I get the same service that I had with sprintTV.
