It does NOT work, at least consistently.
And if you read a couple of posts above you will see the app cannot be linked to because the service is provided by MobiTV and they have threatened with legal action if we link or direct users to their intellectual property.

Re: Official Discussion of SprintTV on Mogul - No Longer Working 02/06
I know just how you feel. I must say to myself 20-30 times a day: I wish I could turn off this wide screen, HD TV with surround sound and hundreds of channels to watch a handful of channels on a 3 inch screen. Oh, wait...I just remembered...I use Orb for free and can watch all my satellite channels on my Mogul anytime I want to watch the small screen. Whew! That was close.

Re: Official Discussion of SprintTV on Mogul - No Longer Working 02/06
Does anyone knows how to make sprint tv work on the Mogul, I have installed sprint TV version 1.5.
What registry keys need to be removed to have it work for free? I really appreciate your help. |

Re: Official Discussion of SprintTV on Mogul - No Longer Working 02/06
I just became a new Sprint customer and was sold the $25 ultimate vision pack by a Sprint representative two days ago.
After being told by two sprint reps over the phone that the Sprint TV service would show up within 2-6 hours of phone activation, the following day I called again and went through to an advanced technical support person who apparently knew what he was talking about, and informed me that the Mogul does not work with Sprint TV. After finding this very helpful forum, obviously it does work with it right now. Sprint was supposed to release it in a rom update and just hasn't done so yet. If anyone is still managing to use the mogil 6800 with sprint tv successfully please chime in again. Perhaps MobiTV has asked sprint to stop allowing their customers to make use of sprint TV so they can try and get that business directly instead. |
