Download the leaked sprint rom. Extract it, and get the signed Ruu.nbh file, and do your steps to format and load from mircroSD.

THe verizon is a rom dump. I believe it requires the SPL to be unlocked to use. At least the version I have does.

I am not sure if CID is the correct term, but the sprint won't install on a locked verizon.
