Re: Official Titan built-in GPS Thread

Has anybody come up with a way to redirect the audio output for GPS to a bluetooth device?

Re: Official Titan built-in GPS Thread

Let me introduce myself, I'm Vincent Wongso from Indonesia. I have a weird problem with my Titan. I can lock satellite under 2 minute after i tried a lot of tweaks and software. but the problem is, when i use my garmin, it shows that i'm in the south china sea nearby vietnam. Can anybody help me to solve this problem? i'm using 4.1.2 dcd rom, QuickGPS, GPS Viewer by Holux, Garmin XT mobile, Mapking 2007.

Re: Official Titan built-in GPS Thread

My gps works but seems slow. For example it I will pass a side street on the map and then about 3 seconds later the gps will show me passing it. Is there a way to speed this up? I am using Garmin XT with 2009 maps

No it is a combination of slow gps software and phone delay in processing the gps data.

Re: Official Titan built-in GPS Thread

I installed the Google Maps GPS on my 6800 and all it keeps doing is "Seeking GPS Satellites" and it shows that I'm somewhere off the coast of Africa. Someone please help me get this thing right ... I'm assuming it's just settings?!?!?!? I'm a retard when it comes to these phones ... so I will need a step by step.

Re: Official Titan built-in GPS Thread

I am sure thru careful digging it can be found but I have been searching for the same answer as above. The gps just stopped working one day, could have been right after installing microsoft live. I uninstalled live and tried a few fixes but still no gps. Funny thing, I updated google maps and it worked once but gave an error after that one time and has not worked since.

So if anyone can put their fingers on the correct reinstall procedure for a sped like me I would appreciate it.

Re: Official Titan built-in GPS Thread

Thanks for pointing that out

My XV6800 has
rom 3.57.605.1
Rom date 7/21/08
Radio version 3.37.75

I followed a link for unlocking the verizon gps on this site. I believe this device also has the 6.1 verizon rom
