I dont think sprint/htc may even know how big of a problem it is because of lack of complaints. I know when i first went in to get a swap or repair the tech was like "huh?" but i was persistant. I have had less trouble with the other swaps. That may be because they know about it or because I just skipped the sprint store though.

I actually work as a tech for sprint and i see these phones every day. New 6800s come in like this once in a while so i believe is a defect with the phone itself. Its always in the lower left corner about a centimeter up from the bottom. Generally it has 2 spots almost touching. i believe its because there is a part under the screen gently pressing on it from the back. I've had my phone a little over a month now and it hasn't happened yet but i know it will sooner or later.
Just wanted to let you guys know its not from you dropping it, putting it in your pocket or anything like that. (blackberry screens do this as well if you press on them from behind as well as the palm centro) |

Yeah!!! I have one too!!! And here I was thinking I had a defective screen, hoping it never became worse. At least if this becomes an issue it's probably a class action deal.
